    Marlene Squires-Swanson

    Marlene’s experience in media, marketing, agency management and retail is extensive.

    Everything media – from newspapers, magazines, direct mail and creative development – Marlene has done it all!

    As Vice President of NSA Media, Chicago; Marlene was responsible for managing media buying for blue chip businesses such as Amazon, AT&T, JC Penney and Western Auto (Sears) as well as developing the creative strategy for Sears’ Automotive Division.

    She held retail marketing roles as Director of Media, Marketing & Adverting with major retailers such as Pep Boys, Shopko Department Stores and Ashley Furniture HomeStores.

    For VISIT FLORIDA, all of her experience has come into use as she forged global media and advertising programs worldwide.  She brought media buying in-house within the first six months of her arrival and has continued to expand VISIT FLORIDA’s marketing in new markets and channels, inviting visitors around the globe to Visit Florida.

    She lives in Tallahassee with her husband and two daughters whom both attend Florida State University.
